Travel when you want
There are multiple services every day with a wide choice of routes and departure times. Rail travel offers the traveller a network of high-speed trains linking city-centre to city-centre, 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and 365 days of the year.
Almost no weather delays
Rail is less affected by adverse weather conditions and other environmental factors e.g. ash clouds, and therefore more reliable.
Train journey times are getting shorter and faster every year through the construction of new high speed lines allowing travel up to 320km/h, linking main cities in only a few hours. It usually takes less than 15 minutes to check-in, except for the Eurostar where check-in generally closes 30 minutes prior to departure and ten minutes for Business Premier Class.
Travel in comfort
You will find spacious carriages onboard with large seats and ample space for luggage. Some trains offer power sockets at your seats and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Arrive in the heart of the city
Most of the major train stations are located in the heart of the cities and travellers benefit from excellent connections with other public transportation such as the underground trains, taxis and buses.
Well-established high-speed rail systems operate in a more environmentally friendly way than any other means of transport.
Off the beaten track
With more than 240 000km of track connecting all the European cities, villages, mountains and countryside, rail travel remains the most comprehensive choice of transportation.
